I should write something to our supporters and encourage them as well\u201d. But life went on. A few days later a friend sent me the exact same scripture in a modern German translation. It grabbed me even more as when I read it a few days earlier. I went and looked up that scripture again. I tried to find an English translation that would put these verses as simple and powerful. I found it in the passion translation in 2 Corinthians 9. Here is what we can learn about the abundant reward of a biblical investment strategy:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1) Giving is contagious and will motivate others to give<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>2b <\/sup><\/strong>I keep boasting to the\nchurches of Macedonia about your passion to give, telling them that the\nbelievers of Corinth&nbsp;have been preparing to give for a year. Your\nenthusiasm is contagious\u2014it has stirred many of them to do likewise.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2) A generous giver reaps an abundant harvest<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>6&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Here\u2019s my point. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving\u2014all because God\nloves hilarious generosity!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4) God is ready to give you more than enough of everything<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>8&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with\nevery form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything\u2014every\nmoment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good\nthing you do.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5) Your kindness and extravagant generosity will be remembered by God<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>9&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>Just as the Scriptures say&nbsp;<em>about the one who\ntrusts in him<\/em>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Because\nhe has sown extravagantly and given to the poor,<br>\nhis kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6) God increases your harvest so that your generosity will grow<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>10&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>This generous God who supplies abundant seed&nbsp;for\nthe farmer,&nbsp;<em>which becomes<\/em>&nbsp;bread for our meals,&nbsp;is even\nmore extravagant toward you. First he supplies&nbsp;every need, plus more. Then\nhe multiplies the seed&nbsp;<em>as you sow it<\/em>, so that the harvest of your\ngenerosity&nbsp;will grow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-3 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img  title=\"\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" src=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/lego-boxes.jpg\"  alt=\"lego-boxes Abundant reward of biblical investment strategy\"  data-id=\"555\" data-link=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/lego-boxes\/\" class=\"wp-image-555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/lego-boxes.jpg 960w, https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/lego-boxes-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/lego-boxes-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/lego-boxes-750x563.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/pnp-donation-1024x768.jpg\"  alt=\"pnp-donation-1024x768 Abundant reward of biblical investment strategy\"  data-id=\"554\" data-link=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/pnp-donation\/\" class=\"wp-image-554\"\/><\/figure><\/li><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img  title=\"\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/food-parcel-768x1024.jpg\"  alt=\"food-parcel-768x1024 Abundant reward of biblical investment strategy\"  data-id=\"552\" data-link=\"https:\/\/hoperecovered.org.za\/food-parcel\/\" class=\"wp-image-552\"\/><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7) God will enrich you in every way<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>11&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you\ngive generously on every occasion,&nbsp;for when we take your gifts to those in\nneed,&nbsp;it causes many to give thanks to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8) Your giving initiates an outpouring of praise and thanksgiving to God<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><sup>12&nbsp;<\/sup><\/strong>The priestly ministry&nbsp;you are providing through your offering not only supplies what is lacking for God\u2019s people, it inspires an outpouring&nbsp;of praises and thanksgiving to God himself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Investment principle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I was surprised to find Robert Kiyosaki &#8211; an American businessman and best selling author write about this principle to increase wealth. In his book &#8220;Rich Dad poor Dad&#8221; he writes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>My rich dad gave lots of money away. He gave to his church, to charities, and to his foundation. He knew that to receive money, you had to give money. Giving money is the secret to most great wealthy families. That is why there are organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation and the Ford Foundation&#8230; My educated dad always said, \u201cWhen I have some extra money, I\u2019ll give it.\u201d The problem was that there was never any extra. So he worked harder to draw more money in, rather than focus on the most important law of money: \u201cGive, and you shall receive.\u201d Instead, he believed in: \u201cReceive, and then you give.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>After all this principle originates from the greatest of all teachers. Jesus says in Acts 10:35 that \u2018It is more blessed to give than to receive.\u2019 Therefore I want to praise and thank God for all our supporters who understand this biblical principle of investing to increase wealth. May you all experience these truths through your giving.
